Dear Friend of the Rhode Island State Police:
In April 2000, the Rhode Island State Police celebrated 75 years of proud service to the people of the State of Rhode Island. During the planning for the 75th year anniversary, the idea was conceived to construct a Rhode Island State Police Museum to showcase the history and proud evolution of the Rhose Island State Police.
As such, the Rhode Island State Police Museum Foundation, Inc., was established as a non-profit 501c3 organization. The museum today exists due to the generous donations, both financially and in-kind services, from numerous Rhode Islanders who are proud of their State Police. No state funds were utilized to create, construct or maintain this wonderful piece of history.
Though the museum is officially opened, the committee is looking to expand and enhance the numerous displays contained inside. These efforts, along with general operating costs and maintenance require constant fundraising efforts to ensure that the museum continues to educate and inspire those with a interest in their State Police.
To ensure the museum’s success, we need the support from both the active and retired State Police membership and the community the State Police serves. To date, each member of the State Police has been asked to make a donation to the Rhode Island State Police Museum Foundation and we are now asking for your help to continue this endeavor.
Your donation will help the committee defray the costs of establishing and operating the museum. We offer opportunities for various levels of support, and because the Rhode Island State Police Museum Foundation is a federally certified, non-profit organization, your donation is tax deductible.
Donations can be mailed to the following address:
